Working principle of PSA oxygen nitrogen separation equipment

There are two adsorption towers equipped with specialized zeolite molecular sieves, A and B. When clean compressed air enters the inlet end of tower A and flows through the zeolite molecular sieve towards the outlet end, N2, CO2, and H2O are adsorbed by it. The product oxygen flows out from the outlet end of the adsorption tower. After a period of time, the zeolite molecular sieve in tower A is saturated with adsorption, and tower A automatically stops adsorption. Compressed air flows into tower B for nitrogen absorption and oxygen production, and regenerates the molecular sieve in tower A. The regeneration of molecular sieves is achieved by rapidly lowering the adsorption tower to atmospheric pressure to adsorb NC, O2, and H2O. Two towers alternate adsorption regeneration to complete oxygen nitrogen separation and continuously output oxygen. The above process is controlled by a programmable controller. When the oxygen purity at the exhaust end is less than the set value, the PLC program will activate and automatically open the vent valve to vent the unqualified oxygen, ensuring that the unqualified oxygen flows to the gas consumption point. When venting gas, use a muffler to reduce noise to less than 85 decibels.
